Linda Wade

Linda Dianne (Straw) Wade, 75 of Owensville, passed away on December 8, 2022, at the Linda E White Hospice House in Evansville. She was born on July 17, 1947, to Mary Lou (Compton) and Elvis O. Straw in Princeton, Indiana. Linda was a member of the Owensville High School class of 1965. She was married to Ralph Darrell Wade for nearly 55 years. They have three children, Robin (Carl) Sparacino, of Owensville, Jason (Tricia) Wade of Fort Branch, and Jeromy (Dawn) Wade also of Owensville. Linda was a retired school bus driver at Owensville School. She enjoyed all kinds of word games, crossword puzzles, and playing cards. She especially loved her pets, Christmastime and Christmas shopping for her kids and grandkids. She is survived by her kids Robbin, Jason and Jeromy, their spouses, grandkids, and great grandkids. Adam and Kayla Robinson, and sons, Tyler and Izaac of Owensville, Jacob and Jaci Wade and daughters Myah and Ember of Fort Branch, Kyle and Leandra Wade and sons Wyatt, Daxton, and Brantly of Newburgh, Kameron and Megan Wade and daughter, Emma and son Eli of Owensville, Noah and Breann Wade and daughter Adaline of Princeton and CJ Sparacino of Owensville. Also, her sister Janet (Gary) Jones, sister-in-law Debbie Straw Baker, and her dear loving friend Jayne Deal, all of Owensville, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Ralph Darrell Wade, parents Elvis and May Lou Straw, her brother Mike Straw and great grandson Curtis Robinson. Funeral services celebrating the life of Linda Dianna Straw Wade will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Holder Funeral Home 319 South Main Street Owensville, Indiana. Officiating will be Pastor Bob Douglas. Interment will follow in the Owensville Cemetery in Owensville, Indiana. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Pall bearers will be Linda's grandsons, Adam Robinson, Jacob Wade, Kyle Wade, Kameron Wade, Noah Wade, and CJ Sparacino. The family would like to thank The Linda E.
