Linda L. Young, 66, of 417 E. 9th, Monroe City, passed away at 2:10 a.m. Monday October 27, 2014 at the Waters of Princeton.She was born October 24, 1948 in Vincennes to Lester and Genevieve (Caldwell) Cleveland.A member of the Monroe City Church of God, Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and gardening.Surviving is her husband, Michael Young; her sons, David (Beth) Young of Bloomington, IN and Brandon (Michelle) Young of Wilder, KY; her brothers, Jerry (Jana) Cleveland and Bill (Kyre) Cleveland, both of Vincennes; three grandchildren, Farrah, Hunter, and Wesley Young; and two step grandchildren, Rhi and Reese Clarke. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kellie Young; and a brother, Billy Cleveland.Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday October 30, 2014 at Monroe City Church of God with Rev. Mark Nielson and Doug Reynolds officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 until the service at the Monroe City Church of God on Thursday.
