Lois Spore

Lois F. Spore, 86, of Evansville and formerly of Vincennes, passed away on August 5, 2012 in Evansville.She was born November 23, 1925 in Lawrenceville, Illinois to Wendell and Hazel (Shear) Prout.Lois was a licensed cosmetologist and belonged to the Methodist church.Surviving is a daughter, Janis Phillips of Evansville, two sisters, Patricia Fossmeyer of Vincennes, and Rosie Vollmer of Sumner, two grandchildren, Laurie Phillips of Dayton, Ohio and Thad Phillips of Mobile, AL and a great granddaughter.She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Betty Althoff.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Gardner Brockman Funeral Home.
