Loren Williams

Loren H. Williams, 91, of Vincennes, IN passed away March 12, 2023. He was born in Vincennes, IN on August 19, 1931, to the late Henry and Harriett (Frye) Williams. Loren graduated from Lincoln High School in 1950. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in the Korean War. Loren was the owner and operator of Perma Crown Tile Company. He worked as a glass cutter for Blackford Glass for 35+ years. Loren married Barbara Scott on July 25, 1970. Loren was a member of First Baptist Church and Wabash Community Church. He will be deeply missed. Loren is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Cynthia Williams; stepson Scott Roach; step-grandson John-Michael Madison; sister Inez Chamberlain; and brother Edward Kuehm. He is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Barbara Williams; son Ted (Cindy) Williams; stepchildren Lea Ann Madison, Greg (Dixie) Roach, Stacey Chambers; grandchildren Chad (Becky) Williams, Alicia (Scott) Beach; 6 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers Norm (Lois) Williams, Dan (Beth) Williams; and many nieces and nephews. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Mr. Williams. Visitation will be held Friday, March 17, 2023, at 524 Broadway St. from 12:30-2pm. A celebration of life will be held Friday, March 17, 2023, at 2pm. Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery following immediately.
