Louis T. Clark, 72, formerly of Washington, IN passed away February 25, 2025. He was born in Washington, IN on April 22, 1952, to the late Thomas and JoAnn (Williams) Clark. Lou attended Washington Catholic High School and graduated in 1970. He continued his education with Vincennes University in electronics, where he graduated with an associate's degree in 1974. Lou then relocated to Bloomington, IN where he began working for RCA as an Electronic Technician for many years and raised his family.
Lou met the love of his life, Cindy Barnard, during his college years, and in November of 1972 formed a union with a lifelong relationship to Cindy and her son Kahlil Barnard.
In Lou's free time he could often be found tinkering with electronics, playing music, and building custom guitars and amps. He also enjoyed cooking, reading, recording music, and making memories with his family traveling. Lou was especially fond of taking walks with Cindy and his beloved dog, Lulu. Lou was an accomplished musician and loved using his skills with electronics to make music and mix sounds. He was often sought out because of his specialized work with electrical instruments, amplifiers, and guitar pedals, from professional musicians seeking his training and skills he possessed in electronics for preserving musical sounds and performances of a bygone era. Lou will be deeply missed by all.
Lou was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and JoAnn Clark; brother Kevin Clark all of Washington, Indiana.
He is survived by his companion, of 52 years, Cindy Barnard; son Kahlil (Cheryl-Crookshanks) Barnard; 3-grandchildren Nolan, Audrey, and Elise Barnard; 3-step grandchildren Alex, Max, and Claudia Crookshanks; his siblings Tom Clark, Bill Clark, and Ann Marie (Mike) McCauley; sister-in-law Mary Ann Clark and children.
