Louvon Thompson, 91, of Vincennes, passed away at 12:49 a.m. Sunday December 21, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born February 22, 1923 in Monroe City, Indiana to Edward and Bertha (Campbell) Beard.Louvon retired after 33 years at Hamilton Glass and enjoyed playing bingo.Surviving are her children, Donna Davis of St. Clair Shores, Michigan and Ronald (Jane) Slater of Owensville; a brother, Victor "Zeke" Beard of Princeton; 10 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, several step great and great great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Noble Thompson, and two brothers, Bill and Don Beard.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Donaldson officiating.
