Ida Mae Bond, 71, passed away at 5:00 am on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at her residence. Mae was born on April 26, 1948 in Daviess County the daughter of Alvin and Mary (Wagler) Knepp. She married Danny L. Bond on December 14, 1973 and he preceded her in death on August 17, 2015.Mae had attended the Amish Church and then the Amish Mennonite Church in her younger years. She worked for Hamilton Glass for several years and retired from Schott Gemtron Corporation after many years of dedicated service. Mae was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge and enjoyed euchre, bingo and camping at Montgomery Ruritan Park.Survivors include her beloved family, daughter Lisa Lunsford and her husband Buck of Vincennes; step-daughters Christi Orman and her husband Scott of Washington, Lori Schultz and her husband Jeff of Vincennes; granddaughter, Abbie Lunsford of Vincennes; her siblings, Vera Wagler of Newagle , MI, Levi Knepp and his wife Betty, Anna Marie Wagler, Katie Wagler and her husband Benjamin, Larry Knepp and his wife Alta, Martha Knepp, Dorothy Raber and her husband Victor, Steve Knepp, Richard Knepp and his wife Sharon and Alvin Knepp, Jr. and his wife Rose Ann. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband Danny L. Bond and brother-in-law's Francis Wagler, Jr. and Noah Wagler.Friends may visit with Mae's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. Brad Rainey will officiate and Mae will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery next to her husband. On line memories may be shared with Mae's family and friends at www.goodwinfamilyfh.com.
