Mae Pauline Dierlam, 101, of Ft. Branch, IN passed away on January 29, 2020 at River Oaks Health Campus. She was born January 5, 1919 to Mr. and Mrs. Wesley McIlree near Velpen, IN. Her family moved to Gibson County when she was 5 weeks old. Pauline graduated from Ft. Branch High School in 1937. On December 25, 1940 she married Russell Dierlam who preceded her in death on May 14, 2006. Pauline was a member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church and served in different programs of the church. She was a homemaker and loved all of her family very much. Her hobbies were making many beautiful quilts and counted cross stitch pictures. Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters; Virginia Callis and Ruth Jones. She is survived by two sons; John (Judy) Dierlam of Ft. Branch, James (Jeanie) Dierlam of Francisco, IN, grandchildren; Gregory of St. Charles, MS, Shelly Harris of Mt. Carmel, IL, and Stacy Ice of Hazelton, IN; great grandchildren Darian Neu and Alex Harris of Mt. Carmel, IL, Drew, Luke, Ethan, and Ruthanna Ice of Hazelton. Also surviving is a sister, Aline Huey of Kenai, AK along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Holders Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Dierlam. Visitation will be February 1, 2020 at Holders Funeral Home from 11a-2p with funeral at 2p with Bob Douglas officiating with interment at Owensville Cemetery.
