Mae Grover

Mae Jean Grover, 94, of Vincennes, passed away at 12:45 am Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born January 7, 1926 in Vincennes, Indiana to Joe and Estella (Warner) Cummins.Mae Jean was a 1944 graduate of Fritchton High school where she was Valedictorian of her class. Mae Jean loved to camp and travel with her husband and was especially fond of seeing lighthouses on their travels.Surviving are her husband Medford Lee Grover whom she married March 19, 1977 and spent 43 wonderful years together; her children Rick Pickel and his wife Rita of Vincennes, Brenda Warren and her husband Phil of Valparaiso; her grandchildren Shawn Pickel of Vincennes, Dena Dunlap and her husband Zach of Bellevue, Michigan, Kelly Dalton and her husband John of Valparaiso, and Chris Warren and his wife Randi of Goshen; seven great-grandchildren; along with four step-children.She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Gary Pickel; five brothers and five sisters.Graveside services will be 2:30 pm Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery with visitation from Noon until 2:00pm Wednesday at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591.Tribute Video
