Margaret Catt

Margaret L. Catt, born October 9, 1919 passed away peacefully on Friday September 7, 2018 at the age of 98. Margaret graduated from Decker High School and Indiana Business College.Margaret married Paul L. Catt August 31, 1947. They were married for sixty-two years and he preceded her in death. She enjoyed working at several loan offices in both Bloomington and Vincennes. For many years Margaret volunteered at the Good Samaritan Hospital. As a long-standing member of the First United Methodist Church she contributed as a member of the Home Builders Sunday School Class. Margaret valued her years as a member of the Meadowlark Home Economic Club and the Vincennes Garden Club. Margaret spent her life serving her God and her family. She was a loving wife, a kind and wise mother, a doting granny and great-granny and a true friend.Margaret is survived by her sons, Steve Catt and his wife Jan of Vincennes and Doug Catt and his wife Mary of Danville, IN; grandchildren and their spouses, Ben and Christy Catt, Betsy and Andy Snyder and Stacey Cooper; great-grandchildren, Logan, Amanda, Clara, Ophelia, Isabelle, Cecilia and Charlie. Margaret was the daughter of Ben and Nellie Fraumann and was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy Williams and Ken Fraumann.The Catt family thanks all who called, visited and prayed for Margaret. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home with visitation 11:00 am until 2:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.
