Margaret Jayne (DeBoeuf) Curry, 94, of Vincennes, passed away at 10:18 am on Friday December 8, 2017 at Lodge of the Wabash.She was born May 23, 1923 in St. Francisville, IL to Ambrose "Bill" L. and Flossie Mae (Howerton) DeBoeuf.Margaret retired in administration from the Bureau of Mines. Her memberships included St. Vincent's Catholic Church, and was a life member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. Margaret enjoyed her life in the country, as she loved cooking, sewing, and taking care of her family. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her husband and friends at the American Legion, VFW, and 40 et 8.Surviving are her children, Robert "Bob" Curry and John L. Curry, both of Vincennes; a brother, Bill DeBoeuf of Peoria, IL; her grandchildren, Susan R. (Willie) Lewis, Barbara K. (Doug) Lowe, and Sara V. (Travis) Davis, all of Vincennes; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Davis, Lorelai Davis, Bill Lewis, Olivia Lewis, Elizabeth Curry Jones, Cody Lowe, Andrew "Drew" Lowe, and Elise Lowe.Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Dale Meyer Curry, whom she wed on February 23, 1946 and preceded her on December 4, 2006; three brothers, three sisters, and a great granddaughter, Faith Lowe.Graveside services will be held at 1:15 pm Monday, December 11, 2017 at St. Vincent's Cemetery with Rev. David Fleck and Deacon Earl Ruppel officiating. Visitation will be from Noon till 1:00 pm at Goodwin Funeral Home.
