Margaret Overton

Margaret Delores Overton, 88, of Owensville, IN passed away December 6, 2018 at Transcendent Nursing Facility of Owensville. Margaret was born December 18, 1929 to Jesse and Clara Moore in Crawleyville, IN. She grew up in the Upper Hills area and graduated from Poseyville High School. Margaret was a homemaker and farmers wife. She has worked at CA Manning Grocery and North Elementary School. She is a member of First Christian Church of Owensville. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Warren (Alvin) Overton; sisters Ruth Mathew, Lois Titzer, Beulah Straw, and Wilma Moore; and brother William (Bud) Moore. Margaret is survived by one daughter, Ronda and Son-in-Law Ernest Colbert; two grandchildren Julie (Tom) Goedde and Dan (Jennifer) Colbert; 7 great grandchildren Brittany, Brooke, and Tyler Goedde, Jasmyne and Jordyn Milheiser, Cale and Cyelin Colbert; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of Transcendent Health Care and Kindred Hospice for their love and care. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to First Christian Church of Owensville or St. Jude's Hospital in memory of Brock Hertel. Holder's Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Overton. Visitation will be held Sunday December 9, 2018 at Holders Funeral Home from 12p-2p. Funeral will be Sunday at 2p with Pastor Bart Newton officiating with interment at Saulmon Cemetery.
