Margaret Small

Margaret A. Small, 72, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away at 10:34 am Monday, January 6, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born September 3, 1947 in Vincennes, Indiana to Norbert and Mary (Witmer) Zeabart.Margaret "Maggie" worked as a home health aide and had also worked in central services at Crestview Nursing Home and Good Samaritan Hospital. A member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, she also belonged to the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the Eagles. Maggie enjoyed cooking, working jigsaw puzzles, playing games with her grandchildren, Sunday dinners with her family, and watching Hallmark movies while enjoying a glass of wine and eating popcorn with Jennifer.Surviving are her daughter Jennifer Qualls of Vincennes; her sisters Sara Zeabart of El Paso, IL, Kathryn Brown and her husband John of Vincennes, and Jane Catt and her husband Neal of Decker; her grandchildren, Chelsea Harrington and her husband Barney and Brett Qualls and his wife Caitlyn,; her great grandchildren, Carsyn Harrington, Christyn Harrington, and Charlotte Qualls.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerry Small whom preceded her on April 30, 2005; her son in law Chris Qualls; her sisters Norma Yochum, Betty Ann Zeabart, and Mary Lou Hall.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Friday, January 10, 2020 at St. John Catholic Church with Father Tony Ernst officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Thursday, January 9th at Goodwin Funeral Home. Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Margaret A.
