Margaret Stoelting, 70, passed away on August 23, 2017 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. Margaret was born on October 24, 1946 in Lawrenceville, IL the daughter of Joseph A. Sr. and Margaret (Gibson) Rusch. She married Stan Stoelting on July 29, 2006. Margaret was a retired school teacher having received her bachelors and master's degrees from Indiana State University. Margaret was an avid reader and a member of the National Education Association, Indiana State Teachers Association, Beta Sigma Phi, and Tri Kapa. Margaret is survived by her husband Stan Stoelting and children, Margaret's son Paul Blair and his wife Monica, and Stan's children Erica Ogle and husband Heath, Travis Stoelting and wife Jackie; her sisters, Mary Bezy and her husband Tom of Vincennes, Jane Althoff and her husband John of Vincennes; brothers, Mike Rusch and his wife Carla of Vincennes, Joe Rusch, Jr. and his wife Ranah of Vincennes, Jerry Rusch and wife Karen of Mitchell; grandchildren, Olivia Knabel, Addison Ogle, Shayden Ogle, and one grandson expected in January. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her son Patrick, and Patrick and Paul's father Thomas Blair.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am EST on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Old Cathedral Catholic Church with Rev. John Schipp and Deacon Earl Ruppel celebrating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with Margaret's family on Friday from 4-8 pm EST at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway and on Saturday from 8 am until 10:30 am EST at the funeral home.
