Margaret Wolfe

Margaret A. Wolfe, 85, formerly of Lawrence County, IL passed away on February 1, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Ella (Dowell) Berkshire. She was married to Elijah Junior Wolfe who preceded her in death in 1999. Three sisters also preceded her in death.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Michael Klein of Vincennes, IN, grandson Zebulon Klein and his wife Amber of Monroe City, IN; granddaughter Gretchen Lee and her husband Alan of Dayton, OH. Also surviving is a great grandson, two great granddaughters, two sisters, Miriam Baltzell of Olney, IL and Carol Starkman of Titusville, FL; several step grandchildren and nieces and nephews.Margaret was a member of the First Christian Church in Lawrenceville, IL. For many years she worked as a legal secretary, and then as bookkeeper for Illinois Oil Company until her retirement.Funeral services for Margaret will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Tom Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Allendale Cemetery in Allendale, IL. Friends may visit with Margaret's family from 11:30 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
