Marilyn Bateman

Marilyn J. Bateman, 85, of Vincennes passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospice.She was born June 29, 1934 in Vincennes, Indiana to Raymond and Cyrena (Nolting) Like.Marilyn retired as a secretary for Broward County in Florida. She enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre, shopping, and was an avid IU basketball fan.Surviving are her husband, Cleo Bateman Jr. whom she married on July 13, 1957; her daughter, Michele Traversone and her husband Hernan of Houston, TX; her two grandchildren Kayla Traversone and Nicholas Traversone; and her sisters and brother Anita Kellersohn of Oaktown, Shirley Cornelison of Oaktown, and Roger Like of St. Augustine, FL., many nieces and nephews.Preceding her in death were her parents.There will be no public services as Marilyn's wish was to be cremated.
