Marilyn Orndorff

Marilyn L. (Miller) Orndorff, 82, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away to eternal rest and peace on Friday, January 15, 2021.Marilyn was born on October 28, 1938 in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of Lyman and Elizabeth (Perring) Miller and wife to Arnie Orndorff for over 66 years. Marilyn, a graduate of Vincennes University, worked as a Registered Nurse and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Marilyn enjoyed her many dogs over the years, listening to music, watching Indiana sports, and spending time with her grand and great-grand kids.Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Jody Morgan of Noank, Connecticut, sisters-in-law Margaret Ann Jones and Carolyn Sue Barksdale, both of Terre Haute, Indiana, and former son-in-law Jerry Sinclair of Vincennes, Indiana; grandchildren Wendy and Amanda Sinclair of Vincennes, Indiana, Jennifer Sinclair-Rall of Vincennes, Indiana, Matt & Courtney Morgan of Rockford, Illinois, and Chris & Tracey Morgan of Arlington, Virginia; and seven great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband Arnie Orndorff; parents Lyman and Elizabeth; a daughter, Lynn Orndorff; and a son-in-law, Mark Morgan.The family would like to thank the staff at Gentle Care nursing home for their wonderful care of Marilyn and Dr. Daniel Combs for his care and help over many years. She will be laid to rest by family and friends in a ceremony to be scheduled in Spring of 2021.Marilyn was a member of the First Christian Church of Vincennes, Indiana.
