Marion E. Frederick, 91, passed away at 4:57 pm on April 5, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Marion was born on April 3, 1925 in Cairo, IL the daughter of Harmon and myrtle (Dalton) Foss. She married Thomas Frederick on October 1, 1949. Marion was a member of First Church of God and had worked at the Servell plant in Evansville, making ammunition during WWII, Bernard Bottle Cap, Co., K-Mart and Gossett Sewing Factory. She also owned and operated her own ceramic shop; was a member of the Eagles, VFW, and American Legion. Marion enjoyed watching westerns, shopping for antiques and collecting antiques and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. Survivors include her husband Thomas Frederick of Vincennes; daughters, Donna Hand and her husband Mike of Vincennes, Deborah Frederick of Vincennes; son, Daniel Thomas Frederick and his wife Peggy of Lawrenceville; sister, Jeannette Barnhart and her husband Gene of St. Phillips; grandchildren, Christopher Hand, Brian Hand, Jennifer Julian, Jamie Slater, Dannielle Hoalt, Dana Goodwin; eleven great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren and one on the way. Marion was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Freddy Foss. Funeral services for Marion will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Georg Karl officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Marion's family on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 2-50 pm.
