Marjorie Gelb

Marjorie C. Gelb, 91, of Vincennes, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at her home. She was an avid bridge player. Her memberships included the First Christian Church and the Fortnightly Club. Born October 5, 1920 in Vincennes, she was the daughter of William Pearl and Dessa Matilda (Nevins) Cottrell. Her parents preceded her; as well as several brothers and sisters; and her husband, Max Gelb, whom she married on October 2, 1951, in Paducah, KY. Surviving is her daughter, Nancy (Doug) Hazelman of Vincennes; her son, Daniel (Karen) Gelb of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Audrey Gelb, Sadie Gelb, Lindsay Hazelman, and Megan Faulkner; and her great-grandchildren, Molly, Wade, and Simon Faulkner.
