Marjorie Mccammon

Marjorie "Butch" McCammon, 87, of 501 Hart St., Vincennes, passed away at 4:32 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Lodge of the Wabash. She was born November 21, 1923, in Faithhorn, Illinois, the daughter of Leonard E. and Naomi Jane (Gambill) Lane.Marjorie had worked at CBS in Terre Haute, Green Thumb and Progress Laundry. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ and was an avid golfer.Survivors include her children, Renee (& Dan) Darkis of Livingston, TX and Frank (& Charlotte) McCammon of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Margie Jane Phegley, Ross Alan Darkis, Tom McCammon and Jessica Geis and great-grandchildren, Andrea Phegley, Charlie Sue Phegley, Magan Darkis, Christian Geis and Caroline Geis.Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Raymond "Andy" McCammon; two brothers and three sisters.Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21, at 12:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., Vincennes. Burial will take place in Carlisle Oddfellows Cemetery.
