Mark D. Ellerman, 58, of Vincennes, IN, passed away at his home October 10, 2020.Mark farmed his family farm his entire life. He was a member of the Royal Oak Presbyterian Church. Growing up, he loved fishing and hunting with his brother, Brad, and grandfather,Ted. An avid Cardinals fan, he enjoyed watching games on TV and going with family to St. Louis to see the games live.Mark began his career at Mid-West Tank work. After leaving work there, he began working at Integrated Ag in Lawrencville IL as a farmhand and mechanic. In the early 2000s, Mark became a union Boilermaker out of Hall 374. After 16 years as a Boilermaker, he went to work at L & R Rusch Farms as a farm mechanic. There he enjoyed working with his son and getting back to what he loved: farming.Surviving is his wife, Gina (Daffron) Ellerman, whom he married July 29, 1989; his sons, Jordan and Zackary Ellerman, both of Vincennes, IN; his father and step-mother, Christian and Emily Ellerman of Bicknell, IN; his brother, Brad Ellerman and his wife, Tammy, of Bicknell, IN; his sister-in-laws, Lori Jenkins and husband, Jerry, of Bruceville, IN, and Shellie Daffron of Bridgeport, IL; as well as three nieces and a nephew and six great-nieces and five great nephews, with a sixth due in March.Born September 26, 1962, in Vincennes, IN, he was the son of Christian and Frances (Otten) Ellerman.
