Mark Mccracken

Mark Edwin McCracken, 62, of Washington, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Hillside Manor in Washington, Indiana. He was born on April 15, 1959, in Washington, Indiana, to the late Ellsworth McCracken and Marjorie (Wildridge) McCracken. Mark was a 1977 graduate of Washington High School. After high school, he went on to attend Oakland City University where he obtained his associates degree in auto/diesel mechanics. Mark worked for AMC Coal after college and then began working for MacAllisters Machinery in Washington where he was employed for around twenty-five years. On April 22, 1990, Mark married the love of his life, Patricia (Hasenour) McCracken. They spent over thirty years happily married and together they had three children, Jake, Luke, and Nick. Mark loved to take care of his farm and tend to his garden. He loved his family more than anything, and he especially loved his grandkids and spending time with them. Surviving is his wife, Patricia McCracken, his children, Jake McCracken (Renae), Luke McCracken (Jacki), Nick McCracken (Lauren), his grandchildren, Gyda, Liora, Daegn, and Drystan McCracken, his sisters, Marsha Ragle, Ellen Steimel, Sheila Dixon, three nephews, and one niece. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and one niece. Visitation for Mark will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State St., Washington, IN 47501 from 4:00 - 8:00pm. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home at 10:00am with Pastor Tom Watson officiating.
