Mark Veale

Mark E. Veale, 65, of Washington, IN, passed away November 15, 2018, at Daviess Community Hospital.Mark was an explosive handler, working for CAAA, at Crane. Prior to that he worked as a welder for Rescar. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was known to share his catch with others. Mark enjoyed bowling, country music, and mowing grass. A car enthusiast, he was working on his 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle.Born September 19, 1953, in Washington, IN, he was the son of Woodrow and Wanda (Thompson) Veale.Surviving is his wife, Linda (Rayman) Veale; his children, Bryan Veale and his wife, Jessica, of Washington, IN, Cara Foreman and her husband, Andrew, of Corydon, IN, Ashley Veale of Indianapolis, IN, and Kendra Harner and her husband, Jereme, of Washington, IN; his sister, Julia "Judy" Arney of Loogootee, IN; his grandchildren, Zachary Veale, Eli Veale, Charlotte Veale, Alyssa Foreman, and Gunner Foreman; and his mother-in-law, Joyce "Granny" Rayman of Washington, IN. Mark was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Ernie Rayman.Friends may visit with Mark's family from 4:00 - 8:00, at Goodwin - Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street, Washington, IN, on Tuesday. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, at 11:00, at the funeral home with visitation being held from 10:00 am until service time. Burial will follow in the New Veale Creek Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist Mark's grandson Eli (Eli's MVPs) with his ongoing medical needs as he battles congenital heart defects and other health issues.
