Mark Westfall

On April 7, 2021 Mark "Butch" Westfall, 68, went to the big golf course in the sky. His quirky humor and smiling face. will be missed by all who knew him.Butch was born on July 25, 1952 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Rena Yerkes and Clarence Wallace. He was later adopted by Jack and Earline Westfall. Butch is survived by a daughter Anne Westfall, granddaughter Lola Westfall - who he spoiled beyond all reason and his "once wife" Lex, three sisters, Vicki Hamm-Kluberton, Robin Crossland-Alsoffi, and Diana Bennington; and two brothers, Jay Nordgren and John Crossland.Butch was preceded in death by his son Mark Andrew "Andy" Westfall; his parents, and many old friends.Some of Butch's things - not listed here in order of preference - movies, golf, earning his pilot's license, music from various genres, the Indianapolis 500 - rain or shine, but travel topped the list, partially the Clearwater/St. Pete Florida area.There will be no traditional funeral or burial because that was not Butch's style. There will be a "Butch Celebration" for friends, family, former students, and acquaintances. The where, when, how will be posted on social media, flyers on utility poles, and graffiti on random walls - maybe just social media. We plan to scatter his ashes in the Gulf of Mexico near the Clearwater/St. Pete area. This IS Butch's style.
