Martha Allen

Martha "Marti" Elizabeth (Tucker) Allen, 76, of Owensville, IN passed away February 10, 2022 in Oxford, OH. She was born June 13, 1945 in Terre Haute, IN to the late Charles G. Tucker and Katherine L. (Blunk) Gilmore. Marti attended Gerstmeyer Technical highschool and was in the 1963 graduating class. Shortly after graduating she married Robert V. "Bob" Allen January 2, 1965 and had 33 years of marriage before his passing in 1998. They were blessed with two children, Brad and Troy. Marti was a proud homemaker for the early years. She also babysat local children and worked at Lucky 7 liquor store in town for many years. Marti was a member of the Catalina Beach Club and loved her time in Florida. She will be remember as the life of the party and being free spoken and spirited. Marti was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bob Allen; sister Melinda Patton; and brother Chic Tucker. She is survived by her children Brad (Paula) Allen and Troy (Heather Lenzer) Allen; and grandchildren Kelsey Allen, Bayley Allen, Sarah Allen, Bobbie Jo Allen, Ty Allen, Beau Allen, and Aiden Lenzer. Holder's Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Allen.
