Martha Goodwin

Martha Lillian Goodwin Martha Lillian (Corrie) Goodwin went home to be with the Lord at 9:59 a.m. on March 22, 2014 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was born December 14, 1923 in Orio, Illinois to Samuel Earl Corrie and Vera Elizabeth (Shadle) Corrie. Lillian was a member of Wabash Presbyterian Church at Orio near Allendale, Illinois. Lillian enjoyed cooking, gardening, quilting, church, and time with her family. She was a 1941 graduate of Bridgeport Township High School. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years, Estel William Goodwin, sisters Mary Bliss Corrie and Alice Louise Corrie. She is survived by her daughters: Janet Elaine Oliver of West Salem, Illinois and Carolyn Jean Case (husband Gary) of Evansville, Indiana, a sister Lucille Schnitz of West Salem, Illinois, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call beginning at 9:00 a.m. CST until 11:00 a.m. CST at Wabash Presbyterian Church at Orio on Tuesday March 25, 2014. A service to share memories of Lillian and to give God glory will begin at 11:00 a.m. CST Tuesday March 25, 2014 officiated by Pastor Kevin McGinnis with burial following in the church cemetery.
