Marvin Emmons

Marvin Eugene Emmons, 70, passed away at his residence on July 18, 2014. He was born on December 14, 1943 the son of Murl and Catherine (Shappard) Emmons.Marvin was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion and the VFW. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.Survivors include his sons, Brian Emmons and his wife Kirsten of Batesville, Gary Emmons of Evansville; grandchildren, Sam, Olivia and Gavin Emmons; sisters, Donna Donovan of Vincennes, Cathy Emmons of Vincennes, Jana Wolf and her husband John of Pittsboro, IN, Rita Emmons of Vincennes, Karen Smith and her husband Tim of Coatsville, IN, and a brother, Murl Emmons of Vincennes. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Rich Emmons, sister, Carol Fields, three brothers and one sister in infancy, and brother in law, Bob Donovan.The family gathered for a memorial in Marvins honor.
