Marvin Waggoner

Marvin J. Waggoner, 69, passed away on December 22, 2014 at his residence. Marvin was born on April 30, 1945 in Knox County the son of Lisker Vaughn, Sr. and Anna (Devers) Wagoner.Marvin was a graduate of Miami-Jacobs School of Business in Dayton, OH and worked for Vincennes University and Regions bank. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.Survivors include his brother, L. Dale Wagoner and his wife Shirley of Vincennes, brother, Don Wagoner of Vincennes, brother, L. Vaughn Wagoner, Jr. and his wife Peggy of Vincennes, sister, Betty Dunlap and her husband Jack of Bridgeport, IL, brother, Fredrick Wagoner and his wife Sue of Decker, brother, Raymond Wagoner and his wife Jennie of Marion, TX and several nieces and nephews. Marvin was preceded in death by his siblings, Ralph Wagoner, Nelrose Mitchell, Charles Wagoner, Joan Bowman, Emil Wagoner, and triplet sisters of his Martha Wagoner and Marilyn Wagoner.A memorial service for Marvin will take place at noon on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery where the All Weather Firing Squad will conduct military honors. Friends may visit with Marvins family from 10:00 am until the hour of service time of 12:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
