Mary Adams

Mary Lou Adams, 91, of Vincennes, IN, passed away November 15, 2019, at Gentle Care Nursing Home.Mary was a former Monroe City resident. She worked on the family farm doing any job necessary, while raising her family.Born December 17, 1927, in Vincennes, IN, she was the daughter of John Culmer and Aline (Vollmer) Daugherty. Her parents; her husband, Ulysses Adams; her daughter, Anna Mae Wyant; her sisters, Beulah Daugherty and Joan Westfall; her brother, John Edward Daugherty; her son-in-law, Ron Allen; her grandson, Timothy Michael Wagner; and her great-grandson, Memphis Logan Riker, preceded her.Surviving are her children, John William Adams and his wife, Paula, of Vincennes, IN, Fava Allen, Boyd Adams and his wife, Bonnie, of Vincennes, IN, Janet Wagner of Vincennes, IN, Doyle Adams and his wife, Nancy, of Decker, IN, and Larry Adams and his wife, Jeanie, of Monroe City, IN; her son-in-law, Ronald Wyant; her grandchildren, Stephanie McCandless, Amanda Wilson, Sarah McGregor, Bobbie Garner, Tonia Fischer, Joshua Cain, Jeremy Ryan, William Gene Stansfield, James Matthew Wagner, Bradley Weirich, Samuel Tyler Adams, Cory Michael Adams, and Andy Joe Vieke; 26 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.Friends may visit with Mary's family from 4:00 - 7:00 on Wednesday, at the Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home.
