Mary Blackburn

Mary Jo (Moranz) Blackburn, 53, of 1615 Ritterskamp, Vincennes, passed away at 3: 15 p.m. Sunday at her residence.She was born March 25, 1961 in Boonville, Indiana to Joseph and Rose Marie (Meyer) Moranz.Mary was manager at the Tuskawilla Country Club in Florida while living there and had worked at Harley Marie's Restaurant and Farm Bureau in Vincenes. She attended Thursday Church and her children and grandchildren were the thrill of her life along with her birds, and her dog Teddy.Surviving is her husband, Troy Blackburn, whom she married October 10, 1997, her children, Cassie (Joe) Hardin of Lebanon, Sara Madden of Vincennes, and Brooke (Stacy Reese) Blackburn of Vincennes; two brothers, Gary Moranz of Newburgh and Terry Moranz of Boonville; and her grandchildren, Hunter Hardin, Natalie Hardin, and Reese Blackburn.She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, T. C. Blackburn, and a brother, Larry Moranz.A celebration of Mary's life will be held Friday May 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Debbie Salters officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to offset expenses.
