Mary Buford

Mary Jane Buford, 78, of Vincennes, passed away on July 12, 2014 at the New Willow Manor. Mary was born Jan. 26, 1936, in McLeansboro, IL, to Gilbert and Ora Jane (Vann) Gullic. Her parents, and a sister, Norma Carlson preceded her. Surviving are her children, Linda Anderson of Crown Point, IN, Peggy (Bob) Ligda of Crown Point, IN, Rick (Stephanie) Trueblood of Vincennes, IN, and Cyndi Zorteau of Appleton, WI; a brother, Bill (Barbara) Gullic of Dallas, TX; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Mary was a food service project manager, working with the United States Air Force. She was a member of the Crown Point First Christian Church. While living in Vincennes, she was a Red Cross volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital, and was named Volunteer of the Year in 2006. She attended Franklin Heights Christian Church, and the Bethlehem General Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held on Monday, at 2:00, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
