Mary Cullop

Mary A. Cullop, 71, 1412 Shelby St., Vincennes, went to be with the Lord at 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born December 28, 1939, in Knox County, she was the daughter of Cyril and Lottie (Carson) Williams. Mary had worked as a dietary aide for local health facilities. She loved sports and watching her grandkids play sports.Survivors include children, Gloria Howder, Dennis Howder and his wife, Sheila, Teresa Merydith, and Brian Cullop all of Vincennes, Hubert Howder and his wife, Sondra of Bruceville, and Sandy Heath and her husband, Steve of Sumner, IL; sisters, May Bobbit and Ida Sanders both of Mt. Carmel, IL, Carmia Howder, Glenda Carie and Sherry Hedge all of Vincennes; brother, George Williams of Vincennes; seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and one on the way.Preceding Mary in death were her parents; first husband, Hubert Howder; second husband, James Cullop and thirteen brothers and sisters.Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, June 14 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Bobbit officiating.
