Mary Cummins

Mary Louise Cummins, 84, of 521 State St., Vincennes, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2011 at her residence. She was born August 24, 1926, in Knox County, IN, the daughter of Harry and Nina (Biggs) Unsworth. Mary was a homemaker and for many years helped raised kids in her home. She was a member of Indiana Presbyterian Church. Children were her life.Survivors include her son, Ronald Cummins of Wheatland; daughters, Connie (Willard) McGavic , Janet (Dale) Barrix and Kathy Cummins all of Vincennes and Sandra (Vernon) Blain of Wheatland; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.Preceding Mary in death were her parents; husband, Joseph Cummins, who passed away in 1992; sister, Doris Stone; brothers, Harry Unsworth, Jr. and Raymond Unsworth; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Funeral services will be held Monday, January 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., with Rev. Cheryl Thorne officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery.
