Mary Ellen McClaskey, 92, of Vincennes, passed away at 6:50 pm Saturday, February 2, 2019 at New Willow Manor.She was born April 27, 1926 in Knox County, Indiana to Perry and Elizabeth (Helderman) Hitt.Mary owned and operated Mary's Antiques and Used Furniture for many years and enjoyed refinishing furniture.Surviving are her son, Steven McClaskey and his wife Janice of Sacramento, KY, a daughter, Debbie Mason of Lebanon, Indiana; her grandchildren, Tricia McClaskey Purcell, Christopher Crosby, Chasteven Crosby, Tamara Hopper, and Kriste Devine; along with 11 great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, to Perry and Elizabeth (Helderman) Hitt; her husband, Merle "Mike" McClaskey, and a son, Charles Robert McClaskey.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday February 8, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Christopher Vieck officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time. Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mary Ellen McClaskey.
