Mary Imogene Arthur

Mary Imogene Arthur, 91, of Vincennes, passed away at 11:35 am Sunday May 6, 2018 at her daughter's residence.She was born December 5, 1926 in Crawford County, Illinois to Roy and Mable (Voke) Kirk.Mary was a homemaker and she enjoyed spending time with her girls shopping and just talking about their lives. Mary's love of family made her life full and rich along with her love of family vacations with her husband and girls to various parts of the country.Surviving are her children, Cheryl and Dr. Allen Margolis of Winter Haven, Fl, Nancy and Richard Davisson of Vincennes, and Anita and Chris Perkins of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Pat C. Rooney III, Rhonda Forker, Levi W and Christina Perkins, and Christie L. and Trevor Ruppel; and her great grandchildren; Ashlyn Rooney, Henry Forker, Natalie Forker, Jaxston Ruppel, and Addilynn Perkins.Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Noble W. "Buck" Arthur, whom she married November 3, 1948 and preceded her on February 8, 1986; a granddaughter, Nicole L. Rooney; and two sisters, Pauline Musgrave and Juanita Kirk.Funeral services will be held at Noon Friday, May 11, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral with visitation starting at 10:00 am.
