Mary (Kay) Kathryn Ivers, 73, of Oaktown, passed away at her home on April 7, 2015, after suffering with liver disease.Mary Kay was retired from the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Carlisle, IN, where she worked in the Office of Internal Affairs. She was a graduate of Oaktown High School, and attended the Church on the Way, in Washington, IN.Born April 21, 1941, in Knox County, she was the daughter of Ernest D. and Della Mae (Raney) Ivers. Her parents, and a brother, Ernest "Cappy" Ivers, preceded her.Surviving are her sons, Jeff Dardeen of Bruceville, IN, Greg Dardeen of Mt. Dora, FL, and Robbie Cornelison of Muncie, IN; her brother, John Ivers of Bruceville, IN; grandchildren, Mitchel of Oaktown, IN, and Autumn of Freelandville, IN; and her great - grandchildren, Baylie and Mason, of Freelandville.Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, from 3:00 - 6:00, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Monday, at 2:00, at the funeral home.
