Mary Jane Kidd

Mary Jane Kidd, 92, went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2024 at Cedar Creek Assisted Living Facility with her family at her side while under the care of hospice. She was born on November 8, 1931 to Sidney and Marguerite (Downey) Spaulding. In 1955, she married Robert L. Kidd, deceased. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Marsh and Lori (Gary) Haag, as well as a granddaughter Jessica Baer (Jacob Nelson) and a great grandson, Zachary Conlon. She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Janice Spaulding, plus a niece and two nephews.

After retiring from Peoples Bank in 1994 she became an active member of St. Vincent de Paul. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church (now Our Lady of Hope) where she was a member of the choir starting while she was in school and throughout most of her adult life.

In 2000 she was inducted into the Brute' Society, an organization to recognize a faithful member of the Catholic Church for continuing service to her church.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm with mass following at 1:30 pm. Burial will be at St John's Catholic Cemetery.
