Mary M. Chamness, 89, of Vincennes, passed away at 5:30 pm. Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at her residence.She was born October 9, 1930 in Vincennes, Indiana to Hubert and Lena Eaton.Mary enjoyed being a homemaker and was a member of The Church of God of Prophecy where she was active helping the church in her younger days.Surviving are her children Mary Sue Betz and her husband William of Vincennes, William Chamness and his wife Rebecca of Vincennes; a sister Catherine Evans of Vincennes; along with 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William N. Chamness who preceded her on April 27, 1994; her daughters, Shirley Burns, Cindy Horvath, Charlotte Williams, and Debra Marie Chamness; and her brother Hubert Eaton.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Perry Wells officiating.
