Mary Jane Morrison McCrary, 84, went peacefully to her Heavenly home on July 30, 2021 with her loving husband at her bedside. Arthur and Blanche (Grizzle) Morrison welcomed Mary and her twin brother, Gary into this world on August 27, 1936. Mary wed the love of her life on June 9, 1956. They recently celebrated their 65th anniversary with a surprise family dinner. Mary graduated from the Indiana Business College. She spent many years devoted to raising her family and later helping with grandchildren. She also served seventeen years as the Oaktown First Christian Church secretary. Mary is survived by her husband Jim and five children, Rick McCrary and his wife Tammy of Sullivan, Nancy Rinsch and her husband David of Freelandville, Cindy Sum and her husband Chris of Zionsville, Deb Quarterman and her husband Tom of Oaktown and Jeff McCrary and his wife Mindy of Vincennes. Mary was fondly known as Grandma, Nan or Ma Mary to ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Janice Morrison of Vincennes. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, seven brothers, two granddaughters and one grandson. Friends may visit with Mary's family on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 4-8 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. Mary's funeral service will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Biehl officiating. She will be laid to rest in Oaktown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Oaktown First Christian Church or the Wabash Community Church. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mary.
