Maurice Hedge

Maurice Alan Hedge, 61, of Bicknell, IN went to be with the Lord August 20, 2021. He was born on April 21, 1960 in Vincennes, IN to the late Meredith B. and Mildred (McNelly) Hedge. Maurice attended North Knox high school in Bicknell, IN. He was a member of Highway Church of God in Lawrenceville, IL. Maurice enjoyed fishing, quilting, cooking, playing cards, watching St. Louis Cardinals and doing jigsaw puzzles. He will be greatly missed. Maurice was preceded in death by his parents; wife Nancy (Brummet) Hedge; and brother-in-law Denny Pea. He is survived by siblings Joe Hedge, Michael R. (Joy) Hedge, Marlin (Danielle) Hedge, Mark (Mary) Hedge, Martin (Melinda) Hedge, Melinda J. Pea and many nieces and nephews. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Hedge. A Memorial Service will be held at Highway Church of God in Lawrenceville, IL at 11:00 am CST Thursday, August 26, 2021. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
