Max A. Dreiman, 84, of Monroe City, IN, passed away Dec. 25, 2012, at his home. Max graduated from Monroe City High School in 1946. He was a farmer and a cattleman, and drove a school bus for the South Knox School Corporation for 30 years. A member of the Indiana Presbyterian Church, he was also a member of the Hadi Shrine Temple, the Evansville Scottish Rite, the Washington, IN chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Edwardsport Masonic Lodge. Max was a past president of the Knox County Shrine Club, and was a past master of the Monroe City Masonic Lodge. Born Aug. 23, 1928 in Knox County, IN, he was the son of William and Laura (Refiner) Dreiman. They preceded him, along with his brothers, Austin and Lee Dreiman, and his sisters, Pauline, Cecelia, and Clara Dreiman, and Ruth McCoy, and a step-son, Robbie Winnecke. Surviving Max is his wife, Judy (Myers) Dreiman; his children, William (Anne) Dreiman of South Bend, IN, Steve (Rhonda) Dreiman of Monroe City, IN, Edward (Lesa) Dreiman of Vincennes, and Debra (Rick) Stevens of Vincennes; a step-son, Rod (Penny) Myers of Monroe City, IN; fourteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
