Maxine Kuehm

Maxine J. Kuehm, 87, 1312 Oak Street, Vincennes, passed away at 6:26 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born July 13, 1924, in Bloomington, IN, she was the daughter of Claude and Lillian (Dickerson) Marsey. Maxine had worked as a secretary at Public Service Indiana and later worked in the deli department at Harold's Supermarket. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church and enjoyed working crosswords and watching the Indiana Pacers.Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Hesler and her husband, Bernie, of Lawrenceville and Laurel Nardine and her husband, Mike, of Vincennes; brother, Robert Marsey of Rantoul, IL; and grandchildren, Amy Hess, Mark Hess, Marcie Nardine and Michelle Dodson and her husband, Nate.Preceding Maxine in death were her parents; husband, Edward Kuehm who passed away December 11, 1997, and son, Craig Alan Kuehm.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., with Rev. John DeSanto officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
