Mazie Ivers Conrad Bollman passed away July 22, 2014, in Pittsboro, North Carolina.Mazie was born October 12, 1926 to John W. Ivers and Anna Gremore Ivers in Vincennes, Indiana.She is survived by her three children, Greg Conrad of Terre Haute, Indiana, Cheryl Conrad of Pittsboro, North Carolina, and Coleen Phillips of Moweaqua, Illinois; her sister, Marcella Tykal of Bridgeport, Illinois; eight grandchildren; many beautiful great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends--all who will miss her greatly.Mazie was an elementary school teacher for 25 years in Effingham, Illinois. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She was an avid reader, a beautiful knitter, and an accomplished seamstress. Funeral services for Mazie will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home, 505 Main St. with Rev. Sandy Ivers officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may visit with Mazies family from 10:00 am until the hour of service time of 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to UNC Hospice at P.O.
