Michael Kopp

Michael D. Kopp, 75, of Vincennes, passed away Oct. 22, 2014, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Mike was the co-owner of Vincennes Industrial Supply, which began in 1969. He was also involved in C.H. Kopp and Sons Contractors, and was the co-owner of Squirrel Creek and Indian Hills Apartments. In 1957 he graduated from Lincoln High School. His memberships included the Vincennes Elks Club and the Harmony Society. Born on October 13, 1939, in Vincennes, he was the son of Clarence and Letha (Jones) Kopp. His parents, and a brother, Jerry Kopp, preceded him. Surviving are his daughters, Kelley Hopwood, and her husband, Joe, of Vincennes, Kristi Waggoner , and her husband, Charlie, of Vincennes, and Melissa O'Connor, and her husband, Louis, of Montgomery, IN; his sister, Nancy Stultz of Vincennes; his brothers, John and Larry Kopp, both of Elk, WA, and Rich Kopp, of Vincennes; grandchildren, Michael Agee, Amberley Klein, Shannon Hopwood, Joshua O'Connor, Aaron O'Connor, Kylee O'Connor, Carly Waggoner, Robert Waggoner, Grace Waggoner, and Lily Waggoner; and his great-grandchildren, Kelby Klein, Kaylin Klein, Alan Michael Agee, Mila O'Connor, and Hunter Hopwood. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 9:30, at Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, from 4:00 - 8:00. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
