Michael Lane

Michael Todd Lane, 64, of Vincennes, IN passed away on September 26, 2022. He was born in Vincennes, IN on July 28, 1958, to the late William E. Lane and Joyce (Fields) Lane. Todd graduated from Lincoln High School in 1976. He worked as a painter for Greg Lane's Painting for 35+ years. Todd married, the love of his life, Susan (Wilson) Lane on April 24, 1982. He enjoyed many things in life such as fishing, playing basketball, vegetable gardening, watching the Colts and IU, spending time with his grandchildren, playing the lottery and mowing his lawn. Todd was most known for his wonderful sense of humor; his love of music and playing his guitar; and his love and devotion to Susan and his family. He will be deeply missed by all. Todd was preceded in death by his father William E. Lane. He is survived by his wife, of 40 years, Susan Lane; son Michael Cohen (Christie) Lane; grandchildren Milee Lane, Cohen Lane, Eli Lane, Jasper Lane, Mason Freeman; mother Joyce Lane; great-grandchild Legend Freeman; siblings Greg (Liujing) Lane, Kelly (John) Clauss, Troy Lane; and many nieces and nephews. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Mr. Lane. Visitation will be Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 524 Broadway St. Vincennes, IN from 11-1pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 1pm with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery following. Memorial contributions can be made to Riley Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Todd.
