Michael Mullen

Michael Edward Mullen, 66, passed away at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, on February 20, 2022. He was born on January 12, 1956, in Washington, Indiana, to the late William Harold Mullen and Agnes Harter Mullen. Michael was a 1974 graduate of Washington High School. He worked for many years at Loogootee Motor Supply in Loogootee, Indiana as a manager. He then worked for the CSX Railroad before he retired. In his spare time, Michael enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre. He also enjoyed playing a good game of pool. Michael loved his family, and he will be deeply missed by all. Surviving Michael are his siblings, Ray Mullen (Betsy) of Umatilla, Florida, Dennis Mullen (Debbie) of Brazil, Indiana, sisters in law, Shirley Mullen, and Debbie Mullen, brother-in-law Roy Winklepleck, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Agnes, his brothers, Mark Mullen (Shirley), and Greg Mullen (Debbie), and his sister Judy Mullen Winklepleck (Roy). Visitation for Michael will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State St. Washington, Indiana 47501 from 4:00 - 6:00pm. A memorial service will follow beginning at 6:00pm with Pastor Tim Russell officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks the memorial contributions to be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
