Michael Shots

Michael Dale Shots, 52, of Clinton, IN passed away on December 20, 2013. Michael was born on April 5, 1961 in Vincennes to Jimmie Dale Shots and Helen Pifer Shots. He was a fun loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He enjoyed going to concerts, playing pool, spending time with family and his dogs, Tommy, Brittany and Binky. He will always be remembered by his fun loving heart and sense of humor.Surviving are his sister, Lisa Parsley and her companion Dennis Parsley, of Terre Haute; niece Brittnie and her husband James Barker of Terre Haute; nephew Travis Parsley and his girlfriend Samantha Holland of Terre Haute; great- niece, Jaylie Barker and great-nephew, Braden Barker of Terre Haute; several aunts, uncles and cousins; best friend Dewey Thurman and his wife Kim of Flat Rock, IL and friend June Gross of Clinton, IN.Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Dale Shots and Helen Pifer Shots Palmer, grandparents, Walter and Eileen Campbell, Marvel and Doris Pifer and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Funeral services for Michael will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Jim Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Michael's family on Saturday from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Goodwin Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
