Mildred Hart

Mildred L. Hart, 86, passed away at 5:45 a.m. on January 28, 2013 at Gentle Care Nursing Home. Mildred was born on July 19, 1926 in Knox County the daughter of Aubrey and Ethel (Cardinal) Bottoms. She married Harold Hart on July 8, 1950 and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2002.Mildred worked at Broadway Department Store in Long Beach, California. She liked cats, and was a big Elvis Presley fan. Her and her husband also enjoyed watching the Professional Bowling Association on television.Survivors include her brother, Carl Bottoms of Vincennes; sister, Georgia Geary of Bicknell and several nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, four sisters and two brothers.Funeral services for Mildred will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, with the Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Wednesday.
