Mildred Hatton

Mildred L. (Groves) Hatton, 90, passed away at 7:20 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at her residence in Bruceville, IN. Mildred was born on January 5, 1922 the daughter of Charles R. and Roxie R. (Flory) Groves. She married Farrell Samuel Hatton on February 24, 1941 and he preceded her in death on October 3, 1980. Mildred was a homemaker, a member of Life Pentacostal Church in Vincennes, and she enjoyed taking care of her family. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Carole Utt and her husband Bennie E. of Fritchton; daughter, Kathryn Elaine Nickless and her husband James of Vincennes; son, Robert Farrell Hatton and his wife Elaine of Mitchell, IN; son, George Michael Hatton and his wife Sandra K. of Bruceville; daughter Deborah Alice Hatton of Vincennes and granddaughter Mary Lynn Saucerman of Bruceville; brother Harvey M. Groves of Florida. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by a brother Elmer Groves. Graveside services will be held at 2:15 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday, September 18, 2012.
