Miles Talbott

Miles Stephen Talbott was born on October 28, 1953 to Steven Franklin Talbott and Christine Alberta Talbott in Vincennes, Indiana. Miles attended Vigo Elementary School, Riley Elementary School, Clark Junior High School and graduated from Lincoln High School.Miles enlisted in the United States Navy after high school graduation. He was honorably discharged after four years of service. Miles attended and was employed at Vincennes University. Miles loved all sports and was a gifted athlete. As a child, he played basketball and baseball. He was a member of the Cub Scouts and a member of Second Baptist Church.Miles lived life "his" way without pretense. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Making sure his mother had everything she needed was his top priority. Miles loved old school music, especially Charlie Wilson, and having a beer or two.Preceding Miles in death were his son - Brian Lee Roberts; father - Steven Franklin Talbott; sister - Brenda Diane Talbott, and grandparents. Leaving to cherish his memory are his mother - Christine Alberta Talbott; siblings - Pamela Talbott Creed (Danny), Robin Dana Talbott (Kristen); Grandchildren - Jaden Hendershot, Breanna Nkosi, Elisha Roberts, Brittlee Roberts, and Brian Lee Roberts, Jr., and five great grandchildren; Nieces - Alexandra Creed, Christina Creed; Nephews - Joshua Creed, Carson Clark, and Carlos Clark; Aunt - Regina Mitchell, and numerous cousins and friends.Friends may visit with Miles' family from 5:00 - 7:00 on Friday, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN.
